MAY‘S FIRST ACCIDENT！

Today is labor’s day which should not be celebrated as what we do now for we are supposed to work much harder than usual. However, most people actually begin today’s life with a really late sleep and then go shopping, traveling or just staying at home. Very fortunately, my first day in May, to my surprise, began with an accident!

It started with the vehicle of ours. To show the great respect to the Labor’s Day, this damned stupid car recently refused to work. From time to time, it either began to burn the engine oil in the engine or could not get started for once. My mother so today, taking the chance that not everyone would like to have their car mended in a day should be used to work, with me, drove this machine mule from the south of BJ to the north to have it fixed.

After spending three hours waiting in the waiting room, I could only stare at my GRE words list with dazing mind but do nothing else. When the car was told to be mended, my stomach seemed to jump out of my mouth and rushed to Pizza Hut. Honestly saying, it was not its fault, but my spineless mind mentioned to have Pizza.

On the way home to take my student accommodation card, the accident began. Just after my Mom turned at a crossing, the little orange light sparkled. Sorry for ignorance, we had to check it in the car’s instruction book. Engine problem! Little machine mule might have an arrhythmia which then took my cheap Pizza’s tiny wish a real wish, we had to ride on it back to the doctors. Very luckily again, when we finally drove down from the long way on the grade separation viaduct, I suddenly had a feeling of gliding. The heart of the machine mule did not work any more! The car, solely, stopped in the middle of the road which points straight up to the maintenance shop… Considering we may cause traffic jam, Mom, PUSHED the car to the right side of the road! After putting up the warning sign, we found because of heading to the barrier separating the motorways and the non-motorways, almost all the passers-by did not forget to jeer at our stupid fault a little. At the time, for my empty stomach and the not-coming-soon maintenance workers, I almost called Pizza Hut sending a pizza and, when eating with a full mouth, conveniently, shouted at the jeering passers-by with ‘Hey, it’s none of your business!’ However, God blessed everyone: this was never gonna happen!

At last, right before there would be more and more passers-by, the maintenance worker came. Fiddling with the broken-heart of the machine mule, the car, amazingly, the car could get started. Thus just after the an half hour we spent on buying stuff filling the empty stomach and heart not yet recovering from the shock, the car was mended again. Uncle computer said, there were some wires not connected well! And that was why we had May’s first accident and the accidents in the just passed month.

Nothing more to plus, we, Mom, Dad and me finally gained a meal in Pizza Hut with no preferential rights very late. People were still busy with their just coming Labor’s Vacation. Me? With this bad omen of this month, I can just pray the car to be well-behaved!
